FAQ's

  • Why do i need a skin test?
    Here at Dolly's we follow our manufactures rules and regulations and therefore need a skin test 48 hours prior to any chemical treatment. While its very rare for an infection to occur, if it does it can be severe & even cause hospitilisation, this is a risk we are not willing to take. Even if you have used the same products for years, be aware that ingredients can change making skin testing essential for the safety of our clients.
  • How do i choose a specific stylist?
    If you have a stylist you would like to carry out your treatment, you can choose in the top left drop down menu on the booking page on the website. Alternatively please state in your email or phone call which stylist you would like to use.
  • What products do you use?
    At Dolly's we use our experience and knowledge to use the best products which give the greatest results. These include; Redken - Wella - Olaplex
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    As a courtesy to clients on our waiting list we kindly ask you to give us at least 48 hours notice for any amendments or camcellation of your booking. A 50% cancellation fee will become payable for less than 48 hours notice and 100% if cancelled on the day.
  • How far in advance do i need to book?
    Most customers like to book their next appointment/s before they leave the salon, this secures the date and time thats best for you. The booking sytem on the website has a calender of all available dates and times for your chosen appointments. Friday & most evenings aswell as saturdays are the most popular times for appointments here at Dolly's so its important to book in advance if you would like to secure one of these times. We keep up to date with any cancellations so if you would like a short notice appointment we will accomodate where possible.
  • Do you have parking?
    Free off street parking is availble at the Nap WD4 8ET, behind the salon and is a 2 minute walk. For click & collect street parking is availble for up to 1 hour.

  • Where do i go for click & collect?
    If you've chosen click and collect when purchasing any products through our online shop, just come in at the time given to you and your order will be ready to pick up. Free parking is available on the street outside the salon, and also at the Nap WD4 8ET.
  • Where is my order?
    If you've made an order through our online shop and haven't recieved it, please make sure you didnt choose to click & collect (if so you would have recieved an email that your order is ready to collect) And email beverly@dollyshairsalon.co.uk with your order number so we can chase it up for you.
  • What are your opening hours?
    Tuesday - Friday 9AM - 5.30PM Saturday 9AM - 4:30PM For bank holidays and breaks hours may differ, you can find out by searching "dollys hair salon" in google for our latest opening times.
