Hairdresser of the Year

We were delighted to reach the final of the Watford Observer Hairdresser of the Year for two years running.
Our salon fought off competition from other salons in the area to finish third in the competition run by the local newspaper.
“As a new salon, amid the challenge of the pandemic, we were ecstatic to be voted by so many people in such a short space of opening,”said owner Beverly Ford. “Then to be voted again the following year was an absolute bonus, especially to be in the final top three again. We thank everyone for making the effort to vote for us.”

Sustainability Award

We took huge pride in being awarded Environmental Initiative Award for 2023 by the local parish council

A client was impressed by our sustainability and environmentally friendly values and suggested we entered this competition. The entry was submitted to the Kings Langley Parish Council who judged us in first place.

They said it was “for adopting / promoting green environmental practices throughout the salon and showcasing and leading on being a zero waste business in the High Street.”

“It’s great to see such inspiring recycling initiatives being implemented in the salon,” said Councillor Howard Button.

Entrepreneur Woman of the Year

Owner Beverly Ford proudly won an award for Entrepreneurship in December 2021.

An anonymous voter nominated Beverly for the award after being inspired by Beverly’s leap of faith to leave her successful career to return to the hairdressing industry after 40 years.
The award was made by Laurence, a Women’s Motivational Company who recognise strong business women. Laurence travelled from Northampton to greet Beverly at her salon.
“This was an overwhelming honour to receive such an award,” said Beverly. “I was asked what words of wisdom I could offer any women branching into running a  business. My advice is to stay strong, believe in yourself and go for it!”

“Bev changed her career to follow her dream .. and the rest is history,” said Laurence. “She is an inspiration to any women out there who are still hesitating to cross the start line. Covid did not stop her and her team.”

Phorest Client Experience Award

We were delighted to receive a Phorest Client Experience Award for 2025.

“Your clients are clearly in awe of the incredible work you do by making them feel safe and comfortable while still providing the 5-star experience they want and love,” read a letter from Phorest Salon Software.

“The coveted and prestigious Phorest Client Experience Award goes to salons who maintained an average client rating of over 4 out of 5 between March 1st, 2024 and February 28th, 2025.”
